Kids Eat Free*

Children 12 years and under can enjoy free meals for the duration of your stay when dining with a parent at Pool Terrace and ordering from the kids’ menu. Participating restaurants may be subject to change. Terms and Conditions apply.

Complimentary golf buggy

Your Hamilton Island Holiday Home comes with an electric 4-seater golf buggy, so you are always within easy reach of all the island’s facilities. Your buggy can be re-charged at your home, and at several convenient spots around the island. Don’t forget to plug it in overnight!

At the time of booking your buggy, please advise the age of any children travelling with you during your stay on Hamilton Island and our staff will be able to assist with securing the appropriate restraints.

Important note for golf buggies on Hamilton Island:

• Authorised drivers must be a minimum age of 21 years old and hold a current provisional drivers license or above to drive the vehicle.
• Maximum 4 people per buggy. Seatbelts must be worn at all times. Babies and Children cannot ride on an Adult's lap.
• It is a legal requirement that a passenger less than six months old must be restrained in a rearward facing infant restraint, located in the front seat.
• It is a legal requirement that a passenger at least six months old, but less than four years old must be restrained in a forward facing child restraint.

Complimentary non-motorised watersports

Any time during your stay, you can head down to Catseye Beach and make full use of any of the non-motorised watersports equipment, including kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, catamarans, snorkelling gear, life vests, wetsuits, fins and masks. If you’re lucky, you may see some beautiful sea turtles swimming off the beach.

WiFi

As a guest of the island, you can make use of the free wireless internet at selected hotspots across the island.

Home essentials starter pack

Each property (excluding The Residence) comes equipped with a supply of kitchen, bathroom and laundry essentials to get you started. Additional supplies are available from the local Hamilton Island IGA.
 
Kitchen

• 1 x roll of bin liners
• 2 x kitchen cloths
• 2 x tea towels
• 5 x dishwasher tablets
• 5 x sachets of dishwashing liquid
• 1 x scourer and 1 sponge
• Tea bags, coffee, sugar and equal sachets
• (Yacht Club Villas and Hidden Cove only) - Starter supply of capsules for Nespresso Machine, don’t forget to bring your favourite pods.
• Please also note that the ice trays are left empty for hygiene and safety reasons. Once you've checked in, feel free to fill them with water so you’ll have ice ready later during your stay.

Laundry

• 2 x sachets of laundry powder

Bathrooms

• 1 x roll of toilet paper (per toilet)
• 2 x spare rolls per bathroom
• 1 x box of tissues per bathroom
• 2 x individual soaps per bathroom

As part of the Great Barrier Reef, Hamilton Island Holiday Homes prioritises the environment and minimises wastage, so are unable to provide small bottles of shampoo, conditioner or body lotion. We do provide a small bar of soap, but please make sure to bring other items with you, or alternatively purchase these at the local IGA on the day of arrival.
