Complimentary non-motorised watersports equipment

Feeling energetic? Head down to Catseye Beach and make the most of the free non-motorised watersports equipment that’s available to you as a guest of Hamilton Island Holiday Homes. You will simply need to show your Hamilton Island Holiday Homes key lanyard when reserving your equipment at the beach hut.

This includes:

Snorkelling equipment

Grab a snorkel, mask and some fins, and a life vest and wetsuit if you choose, and explore the reef just off Catseye Beach. Depending on the time of day, you may see tropical fish and if you’re lucky, a sea turtle or two!

Even if you’ve never been sailing before - or if you’re a seasoned pro - the mini catamarans are great fun and easy to use. They take up to three people, so kids can also jump on board with a responsible adult.

Stand up paddleboards

Practice your balance with a ride on a stand up paddleboard. You’ll get a great view down into the turquoise water, and the boards are steady enough for a small child to sit on the front (depending on your paddling skills, of course!).

Grab a single or double kayak and explore the waters off Catseye Beach. For the most spectacular experience, we highly recommend heading out in the early morning or just before sunset (tide dependent).

Enjoy the magnificent scenery around Hamilton Island, and have fun cruising across the waves, with a windsurfing adventure off Catseye Beach.
